Cary has three decades of experience in technology management. Cary held IT analysis, operations, management and finance positions at San Diego Gas & Electric and General Dynamics before founding a consulting firm focused on implementing Accounting, MRP and EDI solutions for Aerospace subcontractors.
Cary was one of the four original Peregrine AssetCenter consultants in the Americas when he joined Peregrine Systems in 1998. He managed Services Engineering, the team that developed the model solutions for Peregrine Systems products (ServiceCenter, AssetCenter, Remedy, Discovery, FacilityCenter, Fleet Management, etc.) Cary also managed the Consulting Sales organization in Western North America.
During his years at Peregrine Systems, Cary was Worldwide Practice Manager, regularly serving as management coach and implementation advisor to Peregrine System’s biggest partners and highest profile customers.
In 2004, Cary joined Computer Associates Technology Services as Director of the CA Business Services Management Brand IT Service and Operations Management team in the Western United States. Cary then served as Technology Strategist for CA Service Catalogue where he focused on IT Governance, CMDB and self-service solutions.
Cary was a Partner and CEO of Minerva Enterprises from 2006 until 2011 – a consulting firm focused on IT Asset Management, Service Management and IT Financial Management issues.
Cary earned a Juris Doctor; graduate degrees in Finance and Management; and, undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Computer Science. He is a Certified IT Asset Manager, Certified Service Management Professional and ITIL IT Service Manager.
